Papa Bear here,
Over the years we have received comments from certain friends or relatives relating to advice on parenting and family life. After twenty years of accumulating life experience in these areas we feel like it is a good starting point for us to begin to share some of those insights in writing. I say starting point because we by no means feel like experts in the matter and as you can see from the current picture above we have plenty of little ones to raise to show that we are but half way into the adventure of marriage and child-raising. Recently our growing older kids have expressed a desire for us to compile some ‘home-spun wisdom’ for them to glean from as they begin to form a view of what they would like their own families to look like some day. This blog idea is primarily for that purpose, to share it with our growing children, but we hope that by extension others of you might be blessed as well.
